Here at Chase Distillery we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary. To celebrate this milestone we are giving away our first ever Land Rover 90 worth over £15,000. This iconic original was first released in 1948 and ceased production after 68 years in 2015. It started out as a sketch in the sands of Red Wharf Bay, Anglesey, drawn by Rover engineer Maurice Wilks, and was unveiled at the Amsterdam motor show in 1948. Legend has it that the car was aimed as a stop-gap whilst the Rover company got back on its feet after the war. They went on to produce two million copies, 75% of which Land Rover claim are still on the road to this day – pretty good for a ‘stop gap’!
It is the first we bought upon starting the distillery and the first addition to the fleet of Chase Defenders we’ve become so recognizable for over the last decade. This particular vehicle has accompanied us to events around the UK, witnessed the first case of Chase Vodka being bottled and toured around Europe with us! It’s played a key role in our history and now we’re ready to hand it over to a loving home for its next adventures!
