It’s time to dig out your tartan and join the Scots in celebrating the famous poet Robert Burns. This Thursday Burns fans will be hosting poetry recitals and devouring haggis, neeps and tatties whilst toasting his memory with a wee dram…or two. If whisky is not your tipple then celebrate with a Dundee Marmalade Sour, our toast to the great poet himself.
Dundee Marmalade Sour:
Indulge in this zesty sharp, yet sweet cocktail, made with rich heather honey from the highlands of Scotland. Cheers!
- 50ml GB Gin
- 3 teaspoons Dundee Marmalade
- 15ml lemon juice
- 10ml heather honey
- 1 egg white
Method: Add all ingredients, shake up hard over ice and strain into martini glass.
Garnish: Orange Zest and a slice of shortbread.
