If anything can make an alcoholic cocktail healthy, it’s Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)! From helping digestion and controlling blood sugars to boosting energy and detoxing, ACV has many acclaimed health benefits to help you fight those winter colds. We have teamed up with Willys ACV to create some seasonal cocktails, which are sure to help you towards a healthier New Year, without cutting out the alcohol!
The ACV Bloody Mary
A Bloody Mary with a difference! This fiery cocktail will transform brunch time and will help to kick-start your digestive system.
- 2 Tablespoons ACV
- 50ml Chase Vodka
- 100ml Fresh Tomato Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Tabasco
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1-2 Tablespoons Horseradish ( depending on how much heat you like)
- Juice of half a Lime
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Method: Pour all ingredients over ice and stir
Garnish: 1 Lime Wedge a celery stalk and a pickle
Will’s top tip: Use freshly grated horseradish for that extra kick!
ACV Bee’s Knees
A twist on a classic! A healthy refreshing drink to share with friends, containing plenty of ACV and no artificial sugar!
- 6 tablespoons ACV
- 100ml Chase Vodka
- 100ml Lemon Juice
- 150ml Water
- 6 tablespoons Honey
- 6 sprigs Fresh Thyme
Method:Pour the ACV, honey and 1/2 a cup of water into a medium saucepan on a medium-high heat. Stir constantly until the liquid comes to the boil and then turn off heat, add the thyme and let it steep for about 3 minutes. Strain. Transfer into a large pitcher. Add the rest of the water, lemon juice and vodk and stir. Serve over ice.
Garnish: Fresh Thyme Sprigs
