Better-than-an-egg Easter Cocktails

Lent is a time of self-deprivation, will power… and cravings. These last few weeks (for those of us who have adhered to the rules!) have been torturous and incredibly tedious but the thought of gorging ourselves on Easter eggs and a long weekend has made it all worth it. But why restrict yourself to just chocolate when you can have something even better – alcohol and chocolate! Our master bartender has spent the last couple of weeks working on some indulgent chocolate cocktail recipes just for you, take a look…

Mini Egg Martini 

Cocoa powder, for the rim of the glass

75ml Chocolate Liqueur

50ml Chase Vodka

50ml double cream

Method: shake all ingredients over ice and strain into a martini glass with a cocoa rim. Serve with mini eggs!


Millionaires Martini 

40ml Chase Vodka

10ml Chocolate Liqueur

2 dashes Mozart Chocolate Bitters

37.5ml shot Espresso

12.5ml Vanilla Sugar Syrup

Method: Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake with cubed ice until fully aerated. Double strain into a chilled coupette glass and garnish with dark chocolate shavings and a Bourbon Biscuit.
