COCKTAILS AND CANAPÉS

Wedding season has well and truly begun and what better way to kick things off than a wedding showcase with our friends at Lemore Manor in Herefordshire. We arrived teamed with everything we needed to fill decanters of delicious sharing cocktails that had been designed especially for the event, here’s how to recreate them in single serve measures;

Merry Berry

50ml Chase Fruit Cup

1 strawberry

4 raspberries

100ml cranberry juice

Soda top

Method: Stir Chase Fruit Cup, cranberry juice, soda, strawberries and raspberries in a highball glass with cubed ice before topping with soda. Garnish with fresh seasonal fruit and mint.

The Lemore Julep

37.5ml Williams GB Gin

37.5ml cloudy apple juice

12.5ml freshly squeezed lime juice

10ml sugar syrup

Ginger ale top

Method: Build all ingredients in a rocks glass over cubed ice, garnish with a fresh apple wedge and mint bouquet.

Ginger Tom

50ml Chase Marmalade Vodka

12.5ml freshly squeezed lime juice

Ginger Ale top

2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Method: add all ingredients to a tall glass over cubed ice, briefly stir and garnish with a lime wedge and fresh orange or ginger.

Just as we’d finished filling our last decanter cocktail our wonderful event partners arrived, the seasoned wedding circuit extraordinaire The Great British Florist, and we couldn’t have asked for a better partner! Their beautiful blooms were the perfect compliment to our cocktails, not only are they Herefordshire based, like us, but their ‘grown not flown’ ethos was a perfect fit with our very own field to bottle philosophy.
