FROM BEAN TO BAR

Having mastered the art of bread and pastries, Pump Street Bakery have turned their focus on quality chocolate. Along with only a few other UK producers, Pump Street  make small batch, handmade chocolate from beans imported directly from family farms and cooperatives around the world.

This Bean to Bar ethos is what we love!

Here at Chase we like to champion British producers supplying only the highest quality produce to their customers. Much like our field to bottle ethos Pump Street hand select the best beans and then carefully roast, winnow, grind and conch them for up to 5 days before maturing and tempering the chocolate into bars.

With Easter in mind we thought it best to share with you one of our favourite chocolatey cocktails…

The Millionaires Martini 

Chase Vodka – 50ml

Quality Fresh Espresso – 1.5 shots

Pump Street Drinking Chocolate puree – 20ml (gently melt down chocolate with a dash of cream) careful not to boil. 

Chocolate bitters – 2 dashes

Method – Shake hard with cubed ice and double strained into a coupe glass with grated chocolate.
