Stoked Feasts with Jake’s Cured Meats

This February our friends at Jake’s Cured Meats have something very special for you to look forward to and ease the pain of these long winter nights! On the 18th February they will be preparing and serving a very special 6 course meal at the foot of the Black Mountains as a celebration of farming, food and fire and everyone is invited! At the foot of the Black Mountains, nestled in the Olchon Valley lies Lower House Farm. Enter into the newly restored oak framed barn, you will instantly feel transported back to a time when food bought families and communities together.

Chefs Jake and Dan met six years ago working in one of New Zealand’s top restaurants and after years of working in kitchens on opposite sides of the world are now back together once again ready to bring you a hearty six course feast of the best local produce.

After a seasonal tipple of Williams Sloe Gin to start the evening think cured meats, shared plates, big bold flavours and whole joints cooked over coals. A true celebration of British farm house cookery. The full Menu will be announced 3 weeks before allowing us to make the most of seasonal produce at its best. The menu will feature our own rare breed free range pork and 100% grass fed beef and lamb, all butchered and dry aged right here on the farm.

After dinner prepare to dance the night away to some folk/Irish vibes with live entertainment from local guys The BBC Acoustic Band.

Early bird tickets until the 30th January: £45 per person

Final price tickets: £50 per person

(Ticket price includes seasonal cocktail on arrival, six course dinner and live entertainment)
