“The Young British Foodies Tent is back … showcasing the best emerging food and drink talent the country has to offer. Festi- goers were able to sit on long communal tables, together with friends and strangers, and enjoy a snack, a good coffee, a meal, or a cocktail made by some of the people leading the food and drink scene the UK.
This year’s food and drink line-up included Dorshi Sushi, Chase Distillery,Speck Mobile, Sidecar Coffee, Elephant Juice Bar, Arancini Brothers,Doukan Morrocan, The Wild Game Company, Anna Maes, Waffle On,Mike and Ollie, Gourmet Chorizo, Pizza Pilgrims, Tozinos, African Volcano, Nookie Bars and Rola Wala.
The idea is that you take a stroll around the edge of the tent to browse each stall, and select your own gourmet feast, there will be small servings as well as meal-size portions so you can sample everything if you like. There were some of the country’s best chefs, street food vendors, bakers, distillers and mixologists, coffee roasters and baristas all under one roof, so plenty to choose from.
The Chase Bar popped up again for the second year serving up in season cocktails from spirits fresh from the farm! Chase Distillery is a big supporter of the YBFS and we will continue the partnership for many years to come.
Cocktails included – Williams GB Gin & Fever-Tree Tonic, Marmalade Mule, Smoked Cherry Sling and either a Williams Gin or Chase Vodka Martini.
